Japan on Film - Nagano Snow Monkey Park [Lucky Color 200]
I think I got lucky with my timing, visiting the Snow Monkey Park. The hike was interesting and definitely more enjoyable because the snow really transformed the landscape. The few days that I was in Nagano, there was snow and it was cold enough for it to stick. Doubley lucky because it was snowing on the afternoon that I was there. It was mild enough that it wasn't disruptive and it added a lovely atmosphere to the photos.
Lucky 200 worked in the snow as it gave it a warmer, reddish tone to everything.

I felt lucky to spend an hour around the Snow Monkey Park, during heavier snowfall of the afternoon and catch the feeding time of the macaques. They are smart, extremely territorial and have groups that they stick with, just like us in many ways. It was fascinating and grateful to be able to watch them in their habitat, because at the end of the day, this is their home after all and we are their guests.

It was a cold and hungry hike back to the entrance/drop-off point after. I found this place from a YouTube vlog and visited them before they closed for the day so I had the entire place to myself. Last photo taken as the clouds cleared up and sun shown itself for the evening.
