Japan on Film Part 1 - Noboribetsu, Muroran, Lake Toya and Otaru [Kodak Portra 800]
This was a trip to northern Japan and we covered quite a few prefectures. It was a tiring trip and I wish that we had more time at each of the areas we visited but what can you do when you're with family.

First up, Noboribetsu. It was a cloudy day, and thankfully the smell does not come through in photos (yet). It was fine for me after a while.

We took a scenic route up to our destination, Otaru. First up, Tokkarisho Observatory. Definitely worth a visit as it was quiet.

After this, we drove inland towards Lake Toya. Sadly I did not take any photos of Mt Yotei as I was given the unfortunate task of navigator. Some photos from Tsukiura Observatory.

Some photos walking around Otaru. Its been a few years since I came back.

Decided to take the train down from Otaru towards Sapporo for a nice seaside view and visited Shirokuma Cafe.
