Japan on Film Part 2 - Furano & Biei [Cinestill 50D]

It was the tail end of winter, there was still snow everywhere but the skies were mostly cleared up with minimal snowfall. Temperatures were still cold enough that snow did not melt fast. We visited Farm Tomita and Shirahige Waterfall.

With this being winter, the fields were all covered up to protect the young Lavender. I've learnt that the best time to go is July to September and that's on my to-go list for the near future.

And of course, with this being winter, the Shirogane Blue Pond, was not in fact blue. The Shirahige falls were beautiful in winter, with shades of white and blue.
