Japan on Film Part 6 - Hachinohe & Morioka [Kodak Portra 160]
Hachinohe was mostly a stopover location, for us to rest and continue down the eastern coast to Morioka and hitting various locatioins on the way. Like I mentioned before, we covered so much in so little time that most places felt like a blur to me.
First up, some Cherry Blossoms near Nejo Castle. We were lucky to get to see early Sakura bloomers.

We then visited Kabushima Shrine with all its seagulls. You have to accept the risk of getting hit by their droppings! I mostly avoided the shrine and kept my distance.

We then drove along the coast to Ashigezaki tenbodai Observatory which was an old military fort by the sea.

And then down to Kitayamazaki Cape.

And a short drive from Morioka was Lake Tazawa, with more photos on the next post.
