Japan on Film with the TX-1 - Hiroshima [Reflx Lab Pro 100]

A film stock respooled from Aerocolor 2460, with really fine grain, great detail and a slightly red/warmer tone overexposed by 2/3 of a stop and in strong sunlight outdoors. I really enjoyed shooting this roll of film and it was kind of weird shooting aerial film in Hiroshima if you don't live under a rock and learn about history.

That's also one of the many reasons why I love Hiroshima. The place is modern yet full of history and tradition. Quiet yet full of life everywhere. Bustling yet peaceful.

This was also my first time up to the Orizuru Tower in Hiroshima and it was surprisingly nice and chill when it isn't crowded. I could spend an hour or two just admiring the view.

A must visit in Hiroshima, the A-bomb dome and the park around it, the Flame of Peace and the Children's memorial. There are always paper cranes around the memorial where children from around Japan fold and send it here yearly and I think most people miss it.

Oyster farms! On the way to Miyajima.

Definitely one of my favourite places to visit in Japan, Miyajima or Itsukushima Island. Oysters, food, nature and hiking!

Views around Itsukushima. Worth spending a day or even a night on the island and climbing Mt Misen. You'll be rewarded with the views. This has to be my 3rd or 4th time up, but my 2nd full climb.

Peak of Mt Misen. And if you attempt the climb and persevere to the top, you'll be rewarded with great views and a great place to have lunch.

And always remember to slow down and admire nature around you during hikes.ㅤ
