New Year in Tokyo on Film [Cinestill 400D]
This marks the start of 2025, as well as the end of my film journey with the Minolta CLE and the Leitz CL. These were the last few images taken with the CL on the Minolta M-Rokkor 40mm f/2, and with the Panomicron Alum Anamorphic Adapter.
The year started off great with an end-of-year-to-new-years-trip to Tokyo. It was enjoyable and as usual I took it slow and enjoyed the moments rather than tried to take a lot of photos.

First sunset of 2025.
We visited the famous Gotokuji Temple with all its Maneki-neko. The next few photos were shot with the Panomicron Anamorphic Adapter.

I guess after a few years with the CL and CLE, not fully enjoying them, bringing them to family trips that I had bittersweet memories of, me forgetting to over-expose my films, not getting them hand checked through airport security, learning about their short effective base length, and finally earning enough money to upgrade to something better, it was time to let the two camera bodies go to others that may find it more enjoyable than I did.
That's not to say I didn't enjoy it at all, I learnt to use rangefinders on them and they were the best starter cameras to fully understand and adapt to the system. Without these cameras, I don't think I would be where I am today in terms of skills and understanding of the system, its limitations and its strengths.

A bonus thank you to both of the cameras!
